Ok, so everyone in SPO (Soul Purpose Outreach) has been getting hit hard. The spiritual attacks have been rolling in hard. Katie’s car broke down after a guy put the wrong weight oil in it. Our worship leader, Sean, has lost his, people are sick (Crystal and Kaylee, Whit). Along with family issues for Tami. This weekend is proving that it is the beginning of something big in SPO.

Today, I slept in a little late and when I was reaching for my Bible, asking God what I’m supposed to read He quickly responded with “Matthew 6″ it has been a long time since I have heard that clearly. Here is the summary of what I got out of it.

1. Vs 1-4 ~ Heart check. Don’t boast about your good deeds. Let be a moment between you and God. For this, your reward is in heaven.
2. Vs 5-18 ~ Prayer and Fasting. Again, these are private matters between you and God. Everyone be in prayer from now thru Sunday. We need it, our bros and sisters need it. If you feel you are to fast, please do. No need to talk about it and its up to you what you fast from.
3. Vs 19-34 ~ Let your eyes be a light into your soul and don’t worry about tomorrow. I know from personal experience that is extremely tough, especially right now with the economy and finances are tight. I know it seems like wave after wave coming in over your head. I ask that you guys sit down and write out everything positive in your life right now. Between you and God. Everything, simple or not. House, food, clothes. Everything we have is more then most the world has. Be content and recieve the blessings of family and friends that can support you right now.

This is only going to get harder. The storm is only going to get worse before it clears. God is faithful, He will come thru. David and I had lunch the other day and we had amazing conversation. I haven’t felt so spurred in my heart for a long time. Sunday is going to be perfect and not because of us. God is going to meet us all there. I love all of you a lot. Please stop, read what you feel led to read and pray. I know I need to focus more on it then ever right now. See you all tonight! We’re going to have an awesome practice!
