Weekend, Family and Stories
This weekend has been crazy. Incrediblely busy and blast sums it up in short terms. Saturday morning I got my car fixed. Windows roll up now and Dad welded my muffler back on for me. So its way safer to drive. Now it just needs a tune up. Katie’s Grandma is doing better, thanks everyone for your prayers, they are appreciated and still needed. Katie and her Mom are working on getting everything setup to get Grandma out of the hospital tomorrow. I get to work from a coffee shop today :), its been interesting. A first for me, but it has been productive. Also, for those still praying for my Grandpa, please keep praying. He had a lung infection of some sort. It was life threatening if they didn’t catch it. They did, he’s doing better and will start kemo soon.
That sums up my weekend. Now I wanted to show you guys 2 things I’ve found lately that are great.
First-up, Seth Myers “Really!?!” from SNL. TheSquare posted the link and I think its pretty dead on in some areas. Michael Phelps hasn’t had a life for the last 8 years. He’s been in the pool for our country. Goodness people.
Next up, I read this article last Friday and it really made me realize the amount of excess we still live in. CNN put up this article on “Found Money is frugal family’s hobby” check it out here ? “Found Money” article. Its an awesome realization at how loose change can add up. Hang on to it people!
