Date Night and stories to tell
Katie and I got to go out for a while yesterday. It was nice to just escape with her for a little while. Altho things got interesting at a couple points. First off I was late getting out of the house in the morning, so she had to post-pone her orientation for the care-giving job she picked up. Then I stayed home and worked for a while, got a few things done and then headed down to get her for a late lunch. I got to surprise her so that was fun, she didn’t know what was goin on :).
We went down to McMenamins on the water and had lunch, did some research and she got harassed by some idiot on the phone. She got everything worked out and all, but he was an idiot. Seriously. We went and got some music off her old iPod cause she’s givin it to her brother, Jesse. After that we went and saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I liked the movie overall, it was an interesting and thought provoking movie. Katie has the point of too much infidelity in the movie, and it def did glamorize it too much, I will say that myself. After the movie we went back to her place and hung out for a little while. Her roommate, Janelle, got home and we had some good convos about life and such. They discussed some old friends of Katie’s at her church and what not, I had no clue about anything obviously :).
Today I got to her house in less then 30 min (motivation when you know your already pushin it) and with God’s help I caught pretty much all green lights. After getting her to her second interview and stopping for a some coffee and a bagel, I took off to get gas, cash and a haircut. Now the haircut’s done, I like it… (but I think I need to go buy some Rogain tonight :( ). I’ve stopped at Carl and Tami’s for a few. Do some minor work stuff and then head out again soon to go get Katie and head back home tonight. Maybe I’ll get a hold of Dad and try to bribe him for a burger at the White Eagle or something… we’ll see. Wellp.. I better get busy. Cheers!
